Next to Nothing has been in The Covered Market for over 40 years. It has always been known for having colourful unique quality clothing that lasts rather than fast fashion.
We try and cater for a wide range of styles, shapes and budgets. We stock long standing brands such as Adini and Nomads alongside newer collections from Brakeburn and Lily and Me.
There is a wide exciting range of gifts to choose from including the ever popular slogan t.shirts and cheeky tea towels. We also have a great collection of socks, scarves, .,candles,, purses, bags and mugs
Meet The Trader
I’m Sam. I started working in Next to Nothing in 1992! After many fun years as a sales assistant and then manager, when my boss retired in 2015 I took the opportunity to make Next to Nothing my own. It is lovely being able to choose all the exciting new stock and listening to customer feedback to ensure we have what people are looking for.

Are any of your clothes FairTrade?
Yes some brands are and the others are long established businesses who have their own factories and high standards.
Do you sell online?
We sell some of our stock such as t shirts and socks but because we buy original small quantities of clothing it is not feasible to sell that on line and in the shop.
