Located at the centre of the historic Oxford Covered Market and named after the typical Neapolitan amulet worn to bring good luck and prosperity, Il Corno is an experiential food and beverage business, introducing new dining and aperitif concepts.
Originating from Naples’ tasty and genuine culinary tradition and its renowned customs of hospitality, Il Corno offers its guests two of the most characteristic street foods from Neapolitan popular cuisine: panuozzi, a sandwich made with pizza dough that can be enriched with different fillings, and taralli, a salty snack food with a toroidal shape, which comes in different flavours and is made from flour and animal fat or olive oil. Il Corno will also offer its clients the possibility to accompany such unique products with celebrated wines and liqueurs from the Campania region. Finally, Il Corno will be trading the famous Neapolitan babà al rum and Neapolitan coffee.

Il Corno is proudly family owned and like all family-owned businesses, it is driven by a relentless passion and a dream that coincides with a mission: to bring local Neapolitan ‘poor cuisine’ and Neapolitan culture all the way from the bay of Naples to the heart of Oxford.
The creators and founders of Il Corno are the members of the Clemente family, originally from Naples. Brought together by the desire to be ambassadors of Neapolitan culture, the Clemente Family have decided to join forces and use their expertise to build and deliver their passion-inspired venture, bringing their hometown traditions to the city of Oxford.
With their Neapolitan warmth, enthusiasm, and vitality (and distinctive foreign accent!) you will find yourselves immersed in the heart of Naples, relishing its unique food and beverage culture.
