Market Access
It’s important to us that everyone gets to make the most of their visit to the market. We hope this guide is provides all the additional information you may need.
- The majority of the Covered Market operates on the ground floor
- Seven of our eight entrances have step-free access. One entrance from the High Street has one step
- All businesses, except Georgina’s café, are on the ground floor and all have step-free access
- Georgina’s is accessible via a staircase with 17 steps. There is a bannister all the way up the staircase. At the top there is a small landing area, with a sharp turn to the left
Blue Badge parking
The nearest blue badge parking is located on Broad Street (3mins walk to the market). For further parking locations, follow this link.
Accessible toilets
For the nearest accessible toilets, we highly recommend following this link. The public toilets on Market Street have one step to enter the toilet block.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are of course always welcome in the market.
Home delivery
If coming to the market is not possible, many of our traders offer a home delivery service and are very happy to help with individual enquiries. If you live within the Oxford City boundary we also offer a free EAV bike delivery service. Check with individual traders for details. These bikes also contain a refrigeration unit too so you can access all your favourite fresh produce including ice cream!
