This week is Oxford Living Wage Week (2–9 February), and we’re proud to celebrate The Covered Market traders helping to make Oxford a fairer place to work

Woolhound and Y.O.U Underwear traders displaying Oxford Living Wage Employer signs during Oxford Living Wage Week 2026.

The Oxford Living Wage reflects the real cost of living in our city and goes beyond the legal minimum.

We’re delighted to highlight Y.O.U Underwear, Oxford Soap Company, Sasi’s Thai and The Woolhound from The Covered Market who are all accredited Oxford Living Wage employers showing a real commitment to their teams and to Oxford’s independent retail community.

The number of Living Wage–accredited traders in the Covered Market is growing. To see who’s joining the movement, visit The Covered Market Oxford Living Wage page or look out for the new window stickers, and support businesses making a positive difference!
