Oxford Covered Market was bursting with festive cheer on Saturday morning as families flocked in for our much-loved Breakfast with Santa event.
The market looked truly magical – glowing lights, busy stalls, and excited little ones spotting Father Christmas himself wandering through our sparkling arcades.
A morning filled with festive fun

Santa met and posed for selfies with hundreds of visitors, spreading smiles and plenty of “ho ho hos”!
Children wrote their Christmas letters with help from Santa, before posting them into his bright red North Pole post box.
An incredible live choir kept everyone’s spirits high throughout the morning, filling the Covered Market with carols as families warmed up with pastries, hot chocolate and other treats from our independent traders.

By the end of the day, footfall had reached over 21,000 visitors, marking one of the busiest festive Saturdays of the year so far.
A big thank you to everyone who joined in the festive fun on Saturday, especially Mr Claus himself!
